Bulk Registration Is Now Open to Teacher Groups Across Schools

Learning with colleagues should be easy to organise—even when you work at different schools.

At The Pedagogy Community, we have updated our bulk registration process to make that possible. Teachers can now organise a group registration for their friends and colleagues across schools and access the available bulk-registration discount.

The change starts with a simple requirement: each participant needs to download the myTPC app and complete onboarding before being added to a group registration.

Previously, our bulk registration process was built around a single school. A school could register its teachers together, making it convenient for administrators to arrange training for their staff.

However, teachers’ professional networks often extend beyond their own institutions. You may want to attend a programme with a former colleague, a friend teaching at another school or an educator you met at an earlier training session.

Our previous process did not accommodate these groups.

Teachers brought this need to our attention. We listened and updated the process.

You can now organise a group registration yourself.

Bulk registration is no longer limited to a school representative enrolling teachers from one institution. A teacher can also bring together colleagues from different schools and register them as a group.

For example, imagine a primary teacher who wants to attend a training programme with two former colleagues. All three now work at different schools, but they share an interest in the topic and would like to learn together.

With the updated process, they can form a group. Once everyone has completed onboarding on myTPC, one teacher can enter the others’ registered email addresses during bulk registration and enrol them together.

They can organise their learning around a shared professional interest, regardless of which school employs them.

The process is straightforward:

  • Download the myTPC app and complete onboarding. Enter the basic information requested so your profile is available in the system.

  • Ask each participating colleague to do the same. Everyone being added must have completed onboarding before the group registration.

  • Confirm the email address each colleague used for myTPC. Use the address associated with their account so the platform can identify the correct person.

  • Enter those email addresses in the bulk registration form. With your colleagues’ agreement, add them to the group.

  • Proceed with the group enrolment. Your group can access the bulk-registration discount available for the selected training.

If a colleague has downloaded the app but has not completed onboarding, ask them to finish that step first. Downloading the app alone does not complete the profile needed for this process.

This preparation helps connect the registration to the right person. Instead of creating an unidentified entry for a colleague, you are enrolling someone whose basic profile already exists on myTPC.

For teachers, the update creates more flexibility. You can take the initiative, bring together a group and plan your professional learning with people you already know.

It also creates opportunities to continue the conversation after training. Colleagues attending the same programme can discuss ideas, compare classroom experiences and reflect on how an approach works in different school settings.

This update also reflects something we believe teachers should expect from a training provider: a willingness to listen.

The quality of a platform includes how it responds when educators encounter a practical limitation.

Teachers should feel able to explain what is difficult, suggest what would help and expect their feedback to receive serious consideration. A provider’s understanding of educators should continue to develop through those conversations.

In this case, the need was clear: teachers wanted to register together even when they belonged to different schools. We have changed our bulk registration process to support that need.

When choosing a training platform, look at how it responds to its community. Notice whether it explains its processes clearly, takes recurring difficulties seriously and makes useful improvements.

At The Pedagogy Community, this update is one way we are putting that commitment into practice.

Planning your next training with friends or colleagues? Ask everyone to complete onboarding on the myTPC app, collect their registered email addresses with their agreement and use the updated bulk registration process to enrol together.
